nursery

During our morning service nursery care is provided for children newborn through age two. We offer two separate rooms: one is a quieter atmosphere for babies and the other has loads of toys and fun for the toddlers.  We also offer a private nursing room for mothers and-or for sleeping babies. A pager system in the sanctuary notifies parents if their child is in need of a diaper change or other care. We only ask that parents/guardians refrain from placing their children in the nursery if they are sick. We clean our nursery rigorously, but we can't contend with airborne and snotborne contagions.

We believe that caring for these little ones is a ministry. Jesus took a little child in his arms and said, ““Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”  (Mark 9:36-37)

kingdom kids

Kingdom Kids is an exciting and fun-filled program for children aged 3 - grade 4 that takes place during the morning service. Kids sing, play, and learn their way through bible lessons taught by caring and devoted teachers. We work hard to raise money for much needed places around the world and in own country, and our hope is that we can show God's love through our actions. Every Christmas we put together a Christmas Program.  We sing, dance, act, and pray to show our love and thankfulness for the true reason for the season, our savior Jesus! And we have lots fun and laughter along the way. Come and join us, we always enjoy welcoming new friends!

During the summer months, Kingdom Kids is only for children aged 3-those going into gr. 1.

jr. youth

Jr. Youth Nights are bi-weekly Mondays and is designed for students in grades 7 & 8 to help bridge the gap between Gems/Cadets and Sr. Youth. We participate in a variety of fun activities and Bible study.

The schedule can be a little confusing at times, so be sure to email Steven VanderHoek at youth@trinitycrc.ca to find out when and where the next meeting will be.

sr. youth

High school students are amazingly relational and so we believe our youth ministry should be too.  At Trinity Youth you can expect to get to know students your age and also some adults who truly love God and care about you. We want to be a group and a place where your relationship with God can grow so that your life points people to the love and grace of God. We don't say that you are the future of the church... we say you ARE the church. That's why we spend time being the hands and feet of Jesus in this broken world through an annual missions trip and lots of local service projects.  So check out the calendar and come hang out, study the Bible, and serve with us. Come laugh and grow with us!

Students in grades 9-12 get together every Thursday night from 7pm-9pm for Bible study, fellowship and crazy fun!

Need more information? email Steven VanderHoek (the youth pastor) at youth@trinitycrc.ca

young adults

Young Adults meets on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm.

When we graduate from the safety of highschool and move away from the shelter of watchful and care-full adults, life can seem a little confusing. School or work? Which school? Which job? Singleness or dating? Church or sleep? What comes after post secondary studies? Endless possible roads to take along with the fear of making the wrong decision.

Our Young Adults group is a gathering of people who are in this period of their lives. We are a group that meets to learn and grow in our faith and in our lives through Bible, book and video studies. Our discussions help us tie our faith to our lives - because all of life is spiritual.

email youth@trinitycrc.ca to find our when and where the next meeting will take place!

men's ministry

Men's Ministry meets every other Saturday at 8:00am. check the calendar to see when our next meeting is.

We welcome both members from our church and anyone from the community who is interested. Our meetings consist of a free breakfast and then a time of discussion and prayer.

women's ministry

Women's Ministries run from September through May. There are two different options:

  • LIFT - Ladies in Faith Together, meets Tuesday mornings at 9:30am. Childcare is provided. We will begin on September 19th.
  • Women's Small Group meets Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm.

Both of these options allow an opportunity to go deeper into God's word. Come on out and join us for some Bible study, fellowship, fun and a break from your regular routine!

senior's ministry

If you are 65 years of age or older, you are invited to join our Senior's ministry! We meet the third Wednesday of every month (except July & August) at 9:45am. We start the morning off with coffee and then often have a guest speaker talk to us or we go on outings. If you are looking for a place to go for some Christian fellowship and fun, this is the place!

Alpha

Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. We come together every Wednesday evening in our Fellowship Hall where we have a meal and/or dessert together. After watching a video presentation, we break out into small groups for discussion, where the rule is: there are no stupid questions; it's only stupid not to ask.

Join us for our next Alpha session beginning on September 20th @ 6:00pm

friendship

Every Tuesday evening from 6:45-8:15pm, September though May, we hold a time of praise, fellowship and Bible study for those with cognitive impairments. Powerful friendships develop between students and teachers as they learn together how to share Jesus' love.

We welcome new friends of all ages to join us! Please contact our church office for more information.

small groups

Small groups are an intentional way to deepen our relationship with Christ and to connect with other believers. These groups of about 8-12 people seek to care for and encourage each other through food, fellowship and prayer. It is a relaxed setting to talk about the Bible and how to follow Christ in daily life.

The groups take on many different formats, from what they study together to how often they meet. Whether you are new to Trinity or a long standing member, groups are always forming and we'd love to help connect you!
